Physical and Digital Interactive Experience1779 We were approached by Allied Experiential to create a larger than life interactive installation at this years Super Bowl LIV Experience inspired by the Hungry Hungry Hippos Game.


Fumble Frenzy was a timed experience sponsored by Proctor & Gamble, where six players competed simultaneously to recover the most footballs on the field. A jumbotron above the field featured a live stream of the gameplay, a scoring display, and unique lighting design specific to each player.



Players moved their corresponding football players by pushing down on mechanically-engineered levers that propelled the bodies and arms forward to collect the footballs. A rotating turntable in the middle of the field helped to ensure an even spread of footballs across the field.




In addition to the gameplay elements, the activation featured a cheer squad, on-the-ground interviews of players and commentary from celebrity sports announcers.
