Android Things Flower Garden
Kinetic Installation433 We partnered with Android Things for Google IO 2018 and created a garden of robotic flowers powered by an onlooker’s emotions.
Users kinetic energy and outward emotions controlled the flower’s response to a smile, or close them to a wink or frown. Two different robotic flowers made up the installation, one being a continuum robot that tracked users location, and the other being a flower that responded with light and motion to the users facial expression.
